Thanks for the heads up TLC, I probably wouldn't have known to ask about the towing. Should these 100s have had the timing belt/water pump service after this many years, even with the low mileage?

The factory recommended maintenance interval is 90,000 miles or 9 years for the timing belt.

It's back. I spoke to the owner this morning. It appears legit. To TLCJC- why do you think steering wheel needs replacement?

Pretty sure a dealer or any potential buyer will scoop this up full price (I think it’s an incredible deal)

Btw that looks like an oem stainless steel tip on the exhaust - my wife’s 05 LX came with it. Adds .1 horsepower and makes the trucks belly more aerodynamic.

I talked to the seller. He was very reluctant to answer all my questions. I have asked him for the VIN# (3) times and he still has not sent it to me.... Something seems off. If anyone lives out there and willing to check it out please let me know. Thanks.

I was asking him if everything worked he said ya, I then asked about service history and he said come look at the car and if I like it I can buy it. I have since text (3) times so I could get the VIN and he will not reply. I am not sure about the steering wheel

I had a similar conversation with him yesterday. I asked about the service history and he just said, " brakes, tires...I did it all. All it needs is an oil change. Come check it out" I asked for the VIN and he was reluctant to give it to me as well... Said he would text it to me... I never got it.

I communicated with the seller as well. My spidey sense went to high alert. I asked him to provide me with pics of undercarriage and engine. He sent both after multiple requests. They engine bay pic appeared to be a very clean LX 470 engine. The undercarriage pic was not of a LX 470 under body, or at least not any angle I could reconcile.

He has texted several times. I’m going to pass on pursuing based on the feeling I’m getting.

Can someone confirm if thr undercarriage is a LX? it is suspiciously clean even for a California car, it looks like it's been painted? The engine compartment has obviously been freshly detailed and sprayed with silicone.
