Does anyone have any insight on this rig? I have a hard time believing it's been a mall crawler with all of that ARB gear LOL, but I suppose I've seen crazier things! Seems like a pretty good buy. What say the experts of IHM?

Seems like an auction buy and a quick flip. Missing license plate, lack of details in the ad.

But you never know...it may be a good deal. I also see an aftermarket button where the factory diff lock switch goes on the 98-99. on the 00's that plate is just a blank piece. Based on the arb armor...I'm wondering if maybe it has an arb rear locker (doubtful but you never know what the button is for) Ask them about that button and if they cant tell you what it is then they arent the original owners.
You can easily find out if they are full of s*** by texting them asking about the timing belt history. If they are the original owners then they'll for sure have at least one timing belt job done with docs.

I would still check it out in person. if it all checks out with nothing shady, then maybe throw a low offer. at them. Roughly 2500 dollars in bumpers and lets say there is a Warn winch tucked in there thats another ~700+ depending on which model.

Was texting with the owner yesterday.. Doesn't give too much info because he is "selling it for his mom." They say they are the original owner but they aren't sure if the timing belt has been replaced. Assuming that means no. Would agree that it might be a quick flip, the guy has sketchy grammar (not judging!), but something just sounds odd.

I've been on the prowl for a 100 series so everyone that pops up here in Phoenix I'm all over.

Given that a decent 80 or 100 in Phoenix is gone almost instantly, if you’re local it’s worth checking out and running a history report on.
