Well, my DD, the s10 blazer has been down for a couple weeks now due to rough idle, running rich etc. i finally got the intake off yesterday and found some gas in my intake. this leads me to believe that the injector system or the fuel lines in the intake are leaking. Since i know there is an abundance of engine knowledge in the club. i was wondering if anyone could tell me if i am on the right track. Tonight i will be turning the ignition to get the fuel pump running to see if i can find the leak. any advise is greatly appreciated. thanks.

i am in a hurry to try and get this fixed so it can again become my DD and i can start the build-up/ maintenence of the fj62.

how old are your spark plugs, wires and dist cap?

i recently (within 8 mths) replaced the spark plugs, O2 sensor and fuel pump. i took the car to a shop and they told me that it appears that i am losing fuel pressure. the shop seemed to think it was either a bad fuel injector system or a leaking fuel line in the intake area. they could not tell without more work.

i turned the key last night to engage the fuel pump and fuel poured out of a hole in the fuel injector system (small circular hole that looks like it belongs there) into the intake area.

Is this normal for any car??

I'm no expert. But fuel probably shouldn't be coming out of a hole it's probably a weep hole similar to a fuel pump or water pump. I'm taking it from the picture the piece in the center of the manifold is what was leaking?

yes marshall here is a picture of what was leaking... the smaller hole on the left leaked gas out. I am guessing this part is my fuel regulator.

Yep I would start with fixing that first.

yeah i think i might just bit the bullet and buy an all new injector system... good news for me is that its a spider injector system and the unit is around $300... ouch
