Posting here first, in an attempt to recoup a portion of invested.

It is what it is....

Decided to run a correct gate on the '72 resto and have ambi-doors slated for the '76, so I've no immediate need and have to minimize the stash, especially portions that have cost fair sums of money.

Gate is crated and will need to ship LTL. I'd estimate $100-125 shipping, but will provide the crate size and estimated weight in the next few days.

Anyone interested in this gate?

I really, really want this to stay in the family.

Even though I can't see a way to do much on the price, could offer lay-a-way or hang onto until after the holidays if someone wanted to commit.

Might possibly be able to get it to the Boulder, CO area at the end of December, but no promises as I'm not 100% certain it'll fit.

Part of delay is the Pig!

I hear you. I'm sure I'll encounter similar due to one or the other.

Going to go into liquidation mode after the holidays....when no one has any money, of course, on what I don't need to complete the two I have....to assist funding what I don't.

Don't want to eBay, if it can possibly be avoided, so will keep bumping this thread in hopes someone can use.

hold on to it for awhile till after the new year...everyone is spending $ on christmas stuff I'm sure!
sweet find BTW

Yeah, seems everything is slow moving, right now...except the gift buying.

Don't mind hanging on to as I'd prefer it go to a Mudder and not ebay, but will be in a liquidation state after the first to fund the '76 build, as I'm merely days from finally having the title.

Have had interest expressed by a Mudder and questions were posed that were previous assumptions, but based on the esteemed Mudder from whom I purchased, descriptions.

So, I opened crate to verify that it is paint ready. No dings, dents, or any other imperfections were visibly noticed.

By request, I'll completely remove and depict both sides.

I would have today, but the crate builder must've not have had any good screwings in a while and took his frustrations out by screwing two entire boxes of 1 5/8" and 3" screws during crate construction.

It was more than my 18v Dewalt battery could muster strength to extract on a single charge in 14 degree temps, so the cross brace, attached with (16) 3" screws, remains.

As a side note and inclusive in sale, the crate would serve many purposes beyond its current, especially beneficial if anyone may be, or know a cast member of the Wizard of Oz or Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
