The time has come and I know I'm gonna regret it but am posting my LX for sale.
2006. 177k. First off cel is on for bank 2 cat converter but doesn't affect driveability. I was holding out to see what magnaflow came out with before putting on aftermarket or a factory unit.
Vin: JTJHT00W564009936
Price: $13,500 or reasonable offer
Just picked up a Tundra and the LX is now a 3rd car and when it was only a 2nd car I only put 1,300 miles on it in 13 months of ownership.
It's not an Arizona car but has been loved since in my possession. I know there's gonna be hate about the undercoating but it is in good shape. Most of the rust was on the welds and it was scaly on the rear diff. Everything I've coated so far was either grinded with a wire wheel/ die grinder or needle scaled. Then 2 coats of por 15 applied as well as fluid film inside the rails.
A lot of maintenance history as you will see if a carfax is ran ( I have a copy on hand) or through the Lexus owners site.
Timing belt at 90k
Alternator replaced with factory
Rear a/c lines replaced
Now since my possession I have done the following:
Heater T's
Spark plugs
All diff and x case flushed
Trans fluid transfusion
Tires rotated and balanced
New factory front and rear wipers
Led corner marker bulbs
Weather tech mats
Lexus cargo mat
New underbody shield
New muffler
New factory p/s lines (1 was weeping and hated looking at it) Low pressure lines from reservoir to be exact, not high pressure line
Rebuilt emergency brake bell cranks
Repacked wheel bearings
Rebooted factory passenger side axle
Have all receipts for work I've done and copies of lexus history on hand
Will get techstream hooked up for visual proof of code but windows 10 is configuring an update that is taking forever.
I also bought the timing belt water pump Aisin kit that will be included. I'm sure I'm forgetting a few things at the moment but will continue to post as needed.
