I know i need more fuel pressure for the V8 then the stock pump will deliver. What would be a suggestion for this

This and your external pump.

swap over to a 60 series tank, and sell the 62 tank.

Or install an in-tank pump in place of your 62 in-tank pump. I would bet someone has already done it and documented it on the 60 forum. I would bet @FJ60Cam or @orangefj45 (shops that do swaps) would have a suggestion.

I've turned this for sale thread into a tech thread

using a 60 tank it has the pickup tube assembly and return all ready to go
the 62 tank would need a pickup and return assembly made to work where the fuel pump bracket bolts into the tank. the fuel pump is an integral part of the pickup tube.

the 60 and 62 tank are basically the same except for the intake fuel pump assembly. I don't think the 60 series pickup will bolt where the 62 fuel pump bracket bolts to the tank
