WOW no wonder my steering has been so wonky at high speeds - all the steering stops were bolted all the way in leaving all the stress of hard lefts and rights to the steering box, plus the PO was using power steering! Happy to have that job done.

If you are only getting 3 turns total going stop to stop, you probably have a quick ratio box. That's great for a sports car, not a truck. 4 turns is my starting point.
Oh ok, I will see if I can find anyone who'd like to swap. Shouldn't be too hard seeing has P/S seems to be sought after in these cruisers.
@Augusts96 - Not sure what power steering setup you're running - The original poster was running a saginaw setup. Those saginaw steering boxes, as Shawn mentioned above, came in at least two versions - a 4 turn box, which is what most of us run, and a 3 turn box (actually 3.25), which is the quick-ratio box. My truck originally had a 3.25 turn box - it was definitely a little squirrelly changing lanes but I think it gets a worse reputation here than it deserves. Your brain calibrates to whatever box you're running - you get used to it. That said, I moved to a 4-turn saginaw box when I rebuilt the setup.

Well here's my current box - any ideas? 
Looks like mini truck or stock power steering to me...but I don't really know enough about those setups to say for sure. Not sure how many turns those boxes have normally.
