Non-US 55 mirrors

A year or two ago someone from India (I think??) posted a link to some pictures of their rig on the 55 mailing list. The pictures were of him climbing some sand dunes...I think the pig was red. Anyway, the 55 had mirrors mounted to the upper fenders. They looked almost like 40 series mirrors. Anyone save the pictures by chance? Did any non-US FJ55's have mirrors on the fenders from the factory?

I think some Non-US models came that way to meet local laws - is this what you're talking about?

That doesn't look too bad. The 40 series mirrors would fold up against the fender when not needed.

I would love to get a set of those mirrors that mount on the fenders. I also like the jail bars in the rear of that Blue and White 55. Those are sweet.. would love to get a set of those as well. Hey and why dont we throw in a set of ambulance doors too... hardy har har har.
