Hi Guys.

I have a 2005. I swapped the front coilovers and rear air bag suspension. I drove about 75 miles and I haven't had any error lights on the dash. Should I be worried?

I did not pull the computer, relay or fuses.

Thanks!

Is the "off" light flashing in the center of the dash by the ride height indicator lights?

No. The "off" light is not on. The AHC and Dampening worked before the swap.

Here it is with the ignition switch ON.

And with the engine ON.

What suspension did you use? looks like it came out good.

I got the Old Man Emu 2.5" lift kit from Rocky-road.com GX 470 Lift Kit: Old Man Emu GX470 Lift Kit

$1200 total shipped with Front Assembled Coilovers, rear shocks and heavy duty springs, rear conversion kit and 2x OEM Rear Upper Bump stops.

Here are some side by sides with a random GX on the street.

Do you mind me asking what springs the kit came with? I looked at the link the site but it didn't say what springs. Was it the 885 front and 895 rear? Thanks

Looks great man. I am considering the same set up. Are you planning on adding bumpers? If not how would you say the ride is with the 886/896's? I don't plan on adding bumpers and am a little concerned the 886/896 set up would ride a little too rough. Sorry for all the questions not related to your original post...lol

I do plan on adding a custom front winch bumper and a rear bumper w tire carrier.

My previous car was a Lexus IS with swaybars and coilovers. I really like the "handling" of the heavy springs. My wife commented that the GX feels much stabler while turning.

Bumps and irregularities on the freeway you really feel on the rear while the fronts soak up small bumps on the freeway well. The rear has a defined "snap up" feeling in the rear after hitting a bump. Which might get annoying to some after awhile. It doesn't bother me though. I'd say it's between the number 3 and 4 circle on the stock adjustable dampening. It's firmer than a 3 but smoother than the 4 setting on even payment. I have not yet taken it off road.

But if you do not plan on adding bumpers or prefer a more "plush" feel you'd be best served with the mediums 885/895

I did disconnect the air compressor from the airbags. But not the air compressor from the car if that makes sense.
