I purchased this a few years ago while stationed in Hawaii. It was purchased from the second owner. It has been stored at my family’s home in New Hampshire while I’m bouncing around in the south east. Unfortunately, space is limited and I’m not in the right phase of life to keep up with a toy. Many parts have been added, and I have receipts for the purchaser’s reference. All parts mentioned below are new within the last two years, with less than 1k miles of wear.

-1988

-107k original miles, clean and clear title

-Stockton wheels

-255/85/15 BFG KM2

-OME suspension

-ARB winch bumper

-Safari Snorkel

-Muffler/tailpipe replaced (oem equivalent)

-many engine accessories (fan clutch, water pump, smog pump, belts, hoses, etc)

There is some minor surface spots of rust on the tailgate, and one spot in the engine bay on the fender. The underbody/frame has always had a rust inhibitor applied and is solid. The engine starts right up, but does have a rumble, the cause would be speculation, but with the low miles It points to vacuum, possibly a valve.

The interior is in great shape except for the rear cargo area. I spilled some oil in the back and cut the section of carpet out, but nothing a carpet kit can’t fix, or just leave it.

It’s a great truck overall, you will be hard pressed to come up with a clean virtually rust free example with this low of miles. Delivery via trailer to a NE buyer may be possible within a reasonable distance.

Please PM or email for further details, or to schedule a showing.

ECC PM sent with my cell, thank you.

Here are some underbody shots, many more in the album.

What kind of engine rumble are we talking about? Do the valves need adjusted or do you think
its more than that? Super clean 62 by the way!!!!
How is the tranny shifting in this 62?

Thank You, she really is a looker.

I never had any transmission issues, shifted as I expected with no slipping. If I had the time and space for it at my place, the valves would be my first stop. To be honest I don't want to say "here is a 62 that only needs "x" and the cost to fix would only be "z". I'm sure you understand. It would probably sell it fast, but in turn potentially make me an Ahole if it doesn't turn out exactly as I say.

I had a hard decision to list it, and I've been dragging my feet. The alternative was to take it to a reputable cruiser garage in the north east and have have it gone through and made perfect. However, I gambled that bringing it to the market with a lower entry point would move it faster to someone that knows the vehicles well themselves, opposed to tacking on the cost of someone else's labor at a higher price.

Also, it is being stored at my family's home, unfortunately I'm not local to tinker or make such arrangements.

PM sent.

Seems really cheap...just my opinion.

Thanks I suppose. I do think it is a very fair price, and as mentioned above this price point allows the buyer to invest in a little sweat or money and still have themselves a great deal.

With that said folks, I have recieved a deposit from ECC above, and the transaction should complete the 12th of September. I will update the forum either way when the time comes. Thank you

Where in NH? Looks really nice!

Cool, hope it works out for you and ECC. GLWS!

Great looking rig. GLWTS.
