I'm planning on bringing my saws...better try to start them before Saturday just to be sure. probably going to borrow their chaps. I have Stihl chaps, and I'm sure they comply with a newer standard, but they don't have the USFS markings so I don't think they will pass muster. Unfortunately, the ones with USFS markings are in the $200 range.

Stihl chaps here too... but they have a tag that says they are 6-ply... we'll see.
Anyone know when the next class will be?

Till the fed opens back up I don't think it can be set up.
That said since the parks are closed it would be a very cool thing to step up and clean up anywhere you can if you go to one.

Absolutely!.
We went over the Shenandoah at Luray for a quick trip to Stanley VA and just the number of tree branches that have come down is staggering. I guess you don't notice how much they do on regular upkeep until it is no longer done.
