Won’t be cheeper than aftermarket.

A oil pan from Toyota for my motor is 480$ Can’t imagine how much body parts could cost! I’m sure they would only consider doing a run of old production parts to make money not for the love of old classics.
I wish I had a budget that such that it didn’t matter.

Although some parts aren’t available, and the availability of new OEM parts could improve the availability of half deck used ones.

Oh come now.

We all know Toyota is doing this out of the kindness of their hearts. For the good of the community. Etc.
Because that's how they roll.

We've all seen it.

They care.

“Oh what a feeling… Toyota”

Doesn’t state what sort of feeling. Dealing with the Toyota dealership is never a good feeling.

Couple of links from the 60 forum. Newfie bodyman and fabricator. Does really good work, shows how to repair some
damned ugly rust. Worth a watch. Besides, gotta learn how to speak the language of Newfoundland as well, LOL!

Some one mentioned toyota is going to start producing parts that were phased out over the years for our beloved 40 and 42s. As mentioned out of the goodness of their hearts. One of the last pieces I need are front seat belts, I collected OEM rear belts but no luck with the fronts.

I saw that too somewhere, just can't recall. Makes me wonder why CCOT isn't going full on with 1/2 and 3/4 tubs
like the old days. Not like they sold the equipment. Have you looked at SOR? I know you probably have, but
have to ask.

Our very own @GTSSportCoupe has also discovered this newly discovered Carnivourous plant growing on Vancouver island at Kludahk and Meadow bogs. His pictures not mine, I had to look back in our adventures after seeing this discovery.

That's really darn cool actually. I thought it was just a little wild iris or something. But now I see those drops on the stem are more than just dew. Pretty neat! Thanks for sharing that article.

Awesome you took pictures I was too busy storming around looking at all the red flashy subdews to notice!

I read a second article about it, I guess they're starting with things "that make them stop and turn" .

So I could see basic safety equipment like seatbelts actually making the list.

Here's the request page. Demand seatbelts.

LandCruiser Heritage parts request - https://www.toyota.co.jp/cmpnform/pub/co/landcruiser_form_en

Shudder to think what they'll cost tho...

Now apparently there is a pissing contest going on as it appears as this company is running some kindof
marketing campaign as to what they will build. Dig around a bit. Chat? Anyways, check around

Went digging around for the part number on Amayama and what did I find, they still have the retractable part of the seat belts new..only 230.00 US each plus shipping:p

Careful with Amayama, as half the time they don't end up actually having the stuff in stock they say they do. Same with Megazip.

Partsouq is much better with their system up-to-date on actual inventory stock.

Too much $$ anyhow of course.

Georg told me that toyota warehouse in California has a few FJ40 frames, wonder if they still do and what they would cost?
