I’m not doubting the technology, just recognizing some of its limitations. If you needed to drive 200-350 km a day (as I did when I worked with BC Forrest Service) I’d not want to use too much of that battery power to run tools. 100+ km off the highway in bear country isn’t where I’d want a truck rated to go 370 km (standard battery). Factor in reduced range in the cold, getting stuck, etc... Working out there alone was risky enough. No cell reception, spotty 2 way radio reception... give me an internal combustion engine any day.
That said, if you’re average trip is 10 minutes and there’s always a plug within 30, it’d be fine.
