COVID has hit my immediate family, the young ones hardly suffered, my wife on the other hand went through a rough ten days. I got lucky and has a couple crappy days, never lost taste or smell. One thing for sure I have no appetite and food tastes awfull

Sorry to hear Rob. Hope you all recover quickly.

Thanks for that Nick, Cathy is not out of the woods, she is still very not well. I called and received some advice from the bc medical service, they gave me so good info on what to watch for.

I had to chuckle while watching Prince Phillip's funeral yesterday as the commentator said they have an identical Landrover parked in the back in case something happened to this one. I could just imagine the English tabloids after saying "Lucas the prince of darkness rains down on Prince Phillip's parade"

So how many of us have actually planned tie downs for our own coffins in the back of our own trucks? Cool dude, this Prince Phillip was!

Can you just imagine if Seapotato was put in charge of converting his rig into his own coffin carrier. He would have a winch at the back of the cab to pull the coffin on board because the 6 pallbearers would be so pissed they couldn't do it. There would be kegs of beer mounted on the sides and the pour handles would be stick shifts from a 40 trans. Coming out the back attached to the trailer hitch would be a shooting bench for plunking those pesky toads because the wake would have to be around the pond with a big bonfire. I could go on but I don't want to give him any other ideas to worry about while on night shift.

All of this sounds completely awesome. You've already put more thought into it than I ever have.

My previous instructions were, cheapest cardboard box available, pour me into a cheap acoustic guitar and throw it on a bonfire at a good pissup. Roast a few weenies.

Bit of a Wim Hof deal, I often go out and spend time in ice cold water for periods of time. Today I drove my bj42 up in the mountains and sat in ice cold water for 10 minutes. It was nice to be the only person out today. Call me crazy but I really enjoy doing this.

Some of you probably get these emails already. Some cheap bits and pieces.

Hard to beat ujoints for 3 dollars...

Was watching CHECK News last night and a guy in Bowser just won $25,000 on Keno for the 2nd time using the same numbers.
Great story but the real story is as they were interviewing him in the background was a yellow 45 with a home made box on the back.
It was in a row of old vehicles and probably not plated. So if anyone is looking for a 45 that would be a good place to start.

Anyone have a family they camp with? Maybe want a big ground tent that easy to set up? I think
they come in a fairly large package. I’m posting this ad from an online place to show normal SALE price.
In the US last year they had a waiting list.
I saw one with an ON SALE price at Princess Auto in Langford for only $400! This is an exceptional price.
I‘d not seen one in person before but I have to admit the material it is made of is extremely durable in feel
to me. They are very square and large and tall inside. Base Camp tent / Park tent. The sale ends on May 11.
I had a quick look for one in a box beside the demo tent didn’t see it. Couldn’t find it online flyer.
But they are there I guess.

I am not mature enough for the photo in this article.
Neither was the person who chose that particular photo either I'm guessing

Issues with shipping USPS from CruiserOutfitters from US to Canada.

Special thanks to Bryce @cruiseroutfit

My gear set went around the US for 10 days and was returned to Utah from the international shipping depot in San Francisco yesterday.
Apparently CruiserOutfitters has had several ( 8-10? ) shipments directed to Canada returned without cause/reason NOR refund!! So the
$119 shipping to my house was not refunded to CruiserOutfitters even though USPS never shipped it?? So not sure about future for everyone.
I've used Express Air in Victoria using their Blaine Address. Future reference, I would recommend to you all to use stateside address with a
freight-forwarding company for a while. It could be covid reduced-employee status in shipping warehouses.
I've heard they have had some huge covid infestations in the large shipping company warehouses.
This is an FYI for everyone. CruiserOutfitters is a premier company and have never faltered or failed me, so it's on it way again.
As they say, shipping s*** happens........
