hi all !

I recently bought a 1990 LJ73 and this piece is moving around in my trunk, connected with a cable.

what is this and what should I do with it?

My guess, that's the cable and mount for a missing/broken aftermarket electromagnetic energy recepticle.
 
Its an old antenna mount. Cut the cable off and bin it.
