1. May I see pic's the exhaust manifold ( 3 in one) without the heat cover? Nice tig weld, you do it yourself or somebody else did it for you?

2. I know level 10 back then- 12 yrs ago, the cost and the time frame- how long does it takes for them to rebuilt the tranny? cost?

3. I see you are in east coast, will these 1FZ-T pass the inspection, smog check?

4. Last one, just lil suggestion.I know its not that easy, but hey if you do have plenty time and know hot to cut the pipe, piece by piece and tig weld it- next step should build the 1FZ-TT, sorry the pic aren't mine. It's JDM spec, you'll be the first person in the U.S to own it, but also hope the level 10 (bullet proof tranny) will hold it.

Good luck ;)

Thanks :) Not sure if i have any pics of the manifolds , they are the stock 3 into 1 cast one's then after them i made a smooth 3.5 radius u turn back up to the turbo. All of the welding is me that is what i love to do.

level 10 is very quick these days and if you want every possible upgrade the "bullet proof tranny" will run u about 5,700.00

yes it will pass our emission testing when the high flow cat is in place ,i have a mill adapter for the rear O2 sensor when the cat is removed.

I will be using either 2 HKS T 51R BB with v band in and out exhaust housings or 1 large platform turbocharger 90mm-106mm not sure yet.

Just watched that dyno run............sweet bro. :grinpimp:

Are you planning on selling 5-6 lbs. boost units?
Would you install them?
Trans upgrade?
Thanks
Alen

I may build some kits if there was enough demand, I just sold this kit on ebay but the buyer hasent contacted me yet (looks like he may be a deadbeat bidder!!!!!!!!!

Do you think there would be enough demand to sell 5 kits if i built them?

"If you build it, they will come":D

Jimmy-

Make a kit for the hot side parts and a downpipe that terminates into the stock exhaust. Then people could choose their own turbo and wastegate setups.

eBay has intercoolers that the LS1 and ricer crowd use for turbo setups that support 800rwhp for about $150. Then one just has to make up the cold side (turbo compressor outlet) piping and use some clamps/hoses to finish it up.

Very cool you used the stock exhaust manifolds!

Amazing

I think I watched that thing at least 20 times. If I keep watching it I'll probably sport a chubby. Cheers man. You made my day. :flipoff2:

I would really like to come by and see the cruiser when you are in High Point. Send me a PM next time you plan on cruising and i will come out and find you at the Taco Bell or wherever.

Im curious all this work with the Turbo and no head work to help it breath easier, and your not O-ringing the block either. Also why not have the JE's Teflon coated on the skirt and ceramic coated on the top if your chasing even more power with a bigger Turbo?

The HKS TO4Z seems like over kill too what A/R is it running? Your looking to go larger, why?

How much lag do you have?

1000cc injectors seem a little on the large side too if they are to run 80% duty cycle to be most efficent.

Alot of work but very little information even after reading through your other posts.

Can you scan and post up the dyno runs print outs and supply some detailed info.?

The build is interesting.

what is the static compression ratio on these flat tops in the 1fz?

What length rods did you have made? Are they stock length or did you go to longer rods?

what kind of transmission do you have in it? also do you know the power ratings the stock auto tranny will hold?

your car looks absolutely beautiful!! i would love to have your set up

what kind of A/F ratio are you shooting for? cruising and WOT

on my MK4 supra, i had it around 15's:1 a/f idle and cruise and for WOT 11.5:1

Bloody Hell! you are a killer :steer:, hahahahahaaaa, 4.5 Lt - good engine, congratulation for you killer machine :steer: :cheers:

did you maintain the stock 4wd configuration with the built tranny? pretty much kept everything stock except the transmission?

i know guys in the middle east dislocate the front diff to make it a rear wheel drive landcruiser.

supposedly the manual transmission (H151) stock can hold past 1000whp! os giken makes a clutch for it too.

with the greddy emanage, did you splice into your stock wiring harness? any pictures? silly question but what kind of gas mileage are you getting? cruise that is... since you can tune the a/f ratio, it might possibly be better than most stock landcruisers! 14.7-15's:1 a/f cruise/idle and 11.5:1 wot full boost???

also what gas do you run to boost it? @ 10psi @ 18psi and @ 30psi?

do you know what the compression ratio is now? dont know what headgasket you used
