I have video from a dyno session at brothers racing in tampa they are the only friends of mine with an all wheel dynojet i am uploading the vid to photobucket now . here is a old dragstrip pass boost is @10 psi with the trans slipping a bit but still not a bad pass for a 5200lb tank

the civic in the other lane was also turbo on 10psi

I like the vid where you beat a WS6 :)

I live in High Point pretty much all year and would like to see the truck if it's up here?

That's a sweet build.

Stick that in your Chevy 350 pipe and smoke it.

Sweet!

also wondering what exhaust manifold you used for your turbo? Hand made or Safari or what?

I go to high point almost every fri&sat night we are usally at cookout or taco bell on eastchester

I used the stock 3 into 1 manifolds and then made a stainless steel Tig welded 2 into 1 y pipe leading up to the turbo the y is also where i pulld the wastegate from and then recirculated it back into the down pipe with a very snug slip fit . I just couldnt bring myself to put a log manifold on it the stock ones just looked better to me.

...i built me a new engine with J&E pistons and crower forged billet I beam rods (not the H beam) then a "bullet proof" tranny I will have to get back to yall on that!!!

jgwinc- amazing. Can you give us some details as to what you did to the tranny to hold up to all that power?

Would love to hear some details about your set-up and how it has held up.

here is a couple of pic's of the first engine and a couple of other pic's

1. May I see pic's the exhaust manifold ( 3 in one) without the heat cover? Nice tig weld, you do it yourself or somebody else did it for you?

2. I know level 10 back then- 12 yrs ago, the cost and the time frame- how long does it takes for them to rebuilt the tranny? cost?

3. I see you are in east coast, will these 1FZ-T pass the inspection, smog check?

4. Last one, just lil suggestion.I know its not that easy, but hey if you do have plenty time and know hot to cut the pipe, piece by piece and tig weld it- next step should build the 1FZ-TT, sorry the pic aren't mine. It's JDM spec, you'll be the first person in the U.S to own it, but also hope the level 10 (bullet proof tranny) will hold it.

Good luck ;)
