newbie looking for 4runner question

I'm looking for a 4runner 2003 or 2004 give or take a few years.
Wondering what motor is best for maintenance and high milage ? 6cyl or 4.7 v8 ?
What would the towing cap be aswell ?

No info on the 6cyl, but There are two Tundras with the 4.7 V8 that surpassed 1M miles, so there are super high mileage trucks with the same GX470/4R V8 engine.
