First post for me....'98 LC, 285/75-16 Pro Comp Xtreme Mud Terrains, tweaked torsion bars, PAID FOR.
I am in the Ridgecrest, CA area in the Mojave Desert and wheel the LC pretty extensively in my area in its stock form. It's time to start modifying and replacing parts, as I now have a "company" car and don't have to use it as a daily driver. I came from Texas to California, and the first thing I noticed was "Where in the heck is the mud ?? " The rock crawling thing is kind of new to me, and I figured out real quick that those pesky running boards had to go adios. I bashed the heck out of them on a moderate trail run, and my wife was cringing the whole time. Oh well....I was frankly very impressed of what the LC could do on the rocks in its stock form. I had a '93 YJ before the LC that was lifted, locked, etc. and the LC would hang with it, no problem. Don't mean to ramble here during my intro......
