That's no surprise... the Constitution and the Bill of Rights were suspended on January 20th, 2009 anyway. So why should a New York congressman, who's probable never visited Utah and couldn't even find it on a map, feel obligated to follow the rule of law?

Wrong date, it was October 26, 2001.

Movement going on to toss out all the old garbage next November, not a bad idea IMHO..

The date when the Constitution was suspended has nothing to do with this issue, please feel free to debate that over on the politics forum. :mad:

The point of this tread was to deal with the issue linked. Read it and if you disagree with the plan, enter your zip code at the "Take Action Now!", click "GO!" and send your thoughts to your representative.

Both my congessional reps (after contacting them), sent replies stating opposition to this bill.

Hope others follow..

If they step beyond the legislative process and get away with it..How are we going to make them
accountable besides booting their ***es next year?

Sorry, I'm :bang::bang: ing too..
