As many of you may know Paragon Adventure Park has been abruptly forced to close. The land owners want to sell the land to a developer that will build a huge cargo airport - a multimillion dollar project.
Paragons trails will get bulldozed into a big flat airport with a 13k foot runway... it's hard to believe it's gone. Some of those trails feel like friends - as odd as that sounds.

But, as one of our members said: Lemons to lemonade!

So I'm here to announce that the 2007 Coal Mine Cruiser Classic will be held at Rausch Creek Off-Road Park (http://www.rauschcreekoffroadpark.org/). It's not as quite big as Paragon but it has alot really great trails... it's a great place to wheel. It's about 40 miles from Paragon (south on Rt 81) so it shouldn't make much difference to those travelling to get to the event.

I've temporarily taken the application off of the gclc web site until I can update it to reflect this new venue - should be back in a couple of days.

Thanks for your understanding with regard to this unexpected change.
I think this year's CMCC will be bigger and better than ever! Don't miss it.

Mark

Wll GCLC have RC reserved for the duration of the CMCC to keep it from becoming crowded? I know that Lynn has done this for other events. I've been at RC when they had 120 trucks and it wasn't bad at all.

Count me in, I wouldn't miss CMCC regardless of the location.

What's the date for this run ?

Glad to see its still gonna be a go.

reffug shouldn't matter to you where its held since you'll be sitting at camp anyways :D but on another note WHAZ UP MAN can't wait to have a few  with ya

Glad CMCC is still going to happen a big THANKS goes to all you guys for getting it set up after what happen to Paragon :crybaby:

Rausch Creek will make a great venue for the CMCC! They allow free camping on site which is very nice. If you can get enough people to commit try to get Lynn to reserve the whole park for the event. With Paragon closed it will create a whole lot more traffic at Rausch Creek.

Hey man camp is where its at.................lol

Will definately have a couple cold ones   with cha if I make it this year. Still undecided I'm just real glad that the event itself isn't going to be cancelled. Would be a real shame for it not to be a go.
