I'm pretty sure ANY red looks garnet through orange colored glasses.
Thats not true, UGA red doesnt look anything like garnet I think it has to do with winning.
Except for the head to head match up last year and between the hedges at that!
Funny you should mention that game. It was on the tube last night
on ESPNU. Man, that Davies guy sure hates SOS.
Anyway I like a red sticker. It is easy to spot and is the color associated with UC for many years.
The new design is a hit in my book.
No rep for western north carolina? could it have had the palm and crecent on one side and the NC intertwined on the other to represent both states, since we have members in both? Just a question, kind of like the old logo had both NC and SC represented on it.

Thank God we ended up #2 and have a great season coming up... that was a VERY painful game for the memory books!

If I remember correctly, the plan was to have a sticker that represents the Western NC crew on it's own since we've gathered such a diverse geography. We've got low country, UC, and ATL. We're still waiting on FL and WNC designs. Click here for more info. All of which are "A Division of Upstate Cruisers." If I were creative enough I'd submit a design; however, my skills are rather lacking in that department.
When Gehn moves back to Vermont will he be the only one who's allowed to have the "Upstate-Cruisers-Member-who-just-happens-to-live-in-Vermont Cruisers--A Division of Upstate Cruisers" sticker or can I have one of those as well? Remember, I have to decorate my tool box.

Right, but there's already clubs in GA, NC and FL...we've got the best of the best from all over! Maybe we should make Upstate North-of-the-Mason-Dixon Cruisers.

You made me look. Good one.
We went back an forth with the logo. The last logo was nice but it was hard to tell what it was from a long distance. This one won't. The last logo had the outline of NC, SC on it but everyone said it still looked like SC. We did think about the NC but felt if we did that we would have to think about GA, and Florida as well. Would be way to many elements in the logo. As it is now we have 3. I think it looks good and the other logos for the sub chapters should make up for the expansion of the club and make members still feel they are part of a great group of people.

Personally, I think that the subchapter logos are nice, but it's not like I'd quit if I didn't have one for my state. I joined UC not because they are in my state or anywhere in particular, I joined because I like the people. It could be based in California, and I wouldn't care. I'd still be a member and my feelings wouldn't be hurt if my state wasn't on the sticker.
X2, I joined when I lived in Charlotte,NC....now in Atlanta.....if I could only end up in the UPSTATE!
What about something like this for the NC group background (not great at photoshopping, so if anyone wants to take this and run with it go for it...)
