And first toyota for that

This thing is a long way from my defender and I think I can get very used to it

1998 with 127k on the clock, had slee off road put in a 2.5" lift, diff drop kit, full skid plate system, TJM bumper. Also had them do a front hub service and new pads while it was there. Then had it shipped from Colorado (where it was bought from) to me, and saw it for the first time today!

I have a winch to install in my garage, BIOR sliders and rear bumper are on order (slee's fab shop is down for awhile otherwise id have had them do that too).

I do have the standard alloys that will be shod in 33" duratracs and put on.

Once all done (are these things ever all done?). Ill put a build thread together

Thanks. It is!

That's good to hear. I was torn between them and bfg all terrains but I'd rather have a slightly too aggressive tire than one thats not aggressivr enough. For the limited use this will see.... I'm ok with the sacrifice

Nice rig!

Does that vehicle have running boards on it? tsk, tsk . . .

j/k - ok, we'll wait until you get the sliders in.

Seriously though - very nice purchase and mods already.

Thanks guys. Alloys will have the new rubber on them tomorrow. I was going to PC Them first but decide no point....just something to get scuffed up/scratched that will piss me off. (You know it will happen the first time I take it off road too!).

I have a new deck on the house to build this week/weekend. Once done with that project ill get wrenching on this thing

Btw I love the skid plate system. Looks awesome and plenty stout. Too bad it's under the truck and will rarely be seen lol!

Thanks for the compliments. I was a bit weary of the color but my friend had a car once that was similar and I was always so jealous how it never looked dirty, it shines real nice in the sun too!

I haven't gotten to really using it much. But....

Aesthetically it looks great and fits well. Looks to have great clearances and approach angles. It's very stout

Cons I can see (but have not yet experienced) :
there are no built in recovery points. I would have liked to have some shackle mounts built Into this thing

The winch mount is low. Good because its out of the way and behind everything, but if I ever bury the front of this in mud it will be annoying to get to. Also I dont see how there is much room to reach in and engage/disengage the free spool. There are cut outs, but a direct access from the top would have been nice

Ill need to get to using it more to see what I do and don't like.

I LOVE that Cruiser! I was trying to talk my wife into us buying it off eBay while we were on vacation (...and still hunting for cars:D). Great buy! It looked as though the owners really cared for it. What was the story on the clear-coat spray? Did they scuff and spray the entire car or just spot spray? Wish I could've snagged it. That's the best color Toyota came out with. Also, this may sound strange but were you ever into Early Broncos? Your user name looks familiar.

Thanks! Well I can say after I washed it the paint really looked great. I mean show room great. No swirls or scratches of any kind. I could find out but I'm pretty sure they did the whole truck (if not the better portion of it).

As for the bronco thing, not so much. But hey a lot of people envy the boss 429. So I'm sure there are other similar usernames out there.

Nice truck Adrian

Make sure to check out the Gotham City Land Cruisers. The Coal Miner Cruiser Classic is a great event held at Rausch Creek in July.

Oh yeah, don't be a stranger to the defender guys ;-) can't hose this one out as easily as a 90! Lol.

Hahah. Will do but I don't think I'll be wheeling this one as hard as the 90.

I dunno, my buds that wheel their hundies are starting to push them pretty hard! I'm not so sure if I'm ready to do that to mine yet. It's got me looking at 40s so I won't be "tempted" to start building up my hundy for a couple more years.
