I've been in the 80 scene for a while. After years of wanting and weeks of searching, I finally found my 100. She's an '01 with 119k on the clock and drives awesome. I'm getting the belts replaced, fluids changed and new wheels and tires by this weekend. I just can't stop the addiction! Here she is with her older sister





 
Will these lights fit a 2001?

The tail lights? What year are they from? All tail lights will interchange, there just might be some wiring differences (different plugs, plug location).
 
You can't put 5 speed lights on a 4 speed. ;)
 
I recommend also looking at a set of LX LED tails. They may not be for you, but I love the updated look they give the truck. I plan on adding them down the road and they only require slight wiring modification.
 
Look who finally showed up on the 100 forum, your 80 will be jealous and start to give the tantrums giving all the attention to the new Toy. Looking forward to see it bud after all the stuff gets done. You like those LX lights better huh? Maybe next year I can join you.:hillbilly::meh:

Are there aftermarket sets I can get or only OEM?
 
Haring - I will have a set of those shortly. I'm upgrading the rears off my'05 if you're interested. Haven't received the new set yet, but should have them in the next week or so.
 
Congrats Haring on the new rig! How's it compare to your 80?

The black LC you posted looks exactly like mine including the drooping rear wiper lol. It has the black pearl emblems (very rare) and a black bumper which I believe wasn't an option from the factory.

I like the look of the LX LED tails and the LC LED tails, but both are very pricey from the dealer. The '03-'05 tails do look good too. @Smcmahon what are you upgrading too and do you mind sharing where you got them and how much?
 
I thought I read somewhere that the LX and LC lights are not interchangeable since the tailgate is just a smidgen different.
 
After looking at a couple pics it does appear that way @duggy... Im surprised they would do that. Oh well there still LED LC tails.

The Spyder LED tail lights that I upgraded my 98 were relatively inexpensive and have held up well for the past year. They're not OEM quality but for the price I paid they're nice. Plus, they really update the look of the truck without looking like tacky ricer add-ons. Theyre an 06-07 LX clone (lens color and design, not shape).

Edit: Seems as if theyre out of production.
