I jumped on the bandwagon with the one-piece Depo headlights from Ian (ranma21) when he first started a thread last year, I got them earlier this week and installed them this afternoon.

Contrary to what a few others have experienced, my plugs plugged in fine without any modification needed to the sockets/plugs. I aimed them by turning off the lights in the garage, turned the old headlights on and marked where the cutoff was on the door (about 10-15 feet away) with a piece of tape. Installed the new lights and adjusted; the screw on the back adjusts the vertical aim.

I also got a new set of Spyder taillights from Amazon and installed them as well. They look great and really update the look of the truck.

Here are the tails. They look very similar to the tails on the 2007 LX470.

Thanks guys! This truck does mean a lot to me as it was my father's and after he passed away in 2000, we've kept it and it's been passed on to me.

I know it's not an overland exotic like a lot of the cruisers on this site, but I still love it!

Nice! I bought the same tails yesterday fly hanks for the tip. Now I'm excited to do the install after seeing your rig. That color is awesome too.

Do both high and low beam use H7 bulbs?

Wow, your truck looks like new!! Look so clean! Can't believe it is a 98 handy.

I get that a lot haha

My coworkers still can't believe it's a 17 year old truck that has spent its entire life in the northeast, un-garaged, and driven during the winter ... I'm a car detailer so I'm usually on top of keeping it clean ;)

Link to where I purchased lights?

Looks beautiful, well done.

That is absolutely immaculate! I'm a detailer too and I can tell you, I would be proud to have that as my showcase vehicle!

Headlights: ask Ranma21, he's the one who is selling them. Here's the thread that started it all:

Taillights: purchased through Amazon, I have a Amazon Prime membership so I received free two day shipping. This particular lamp is available on a multitude of other sites as well.

Impressive garage.

Impressive garage.

It's my dealership's detailing shop.

In other news, I took it out tonight just to see the light pattern, brightness, etc. As soon as I turned the lights on I realized I adjusted the headlights wayyy too high as my low beams were shining into the second floor windows of my apartment complex and the high beams were shooting off into space. I shot a video but it's so crappy that it's not worth posting as it's not a good representation of what the human eye sees. I took it on one of the side roads that abuts my apartment complex's parking lot so I didn't drive into traffic...

Going to do some fine tuning tomorrow and possibly after work on Monday.

For what it's worth, the adjustment screw on the rear of the housings takes an 8mm wrench!

What a world of difference. It looks amazing. I like that color to.
