Sorry have been rather sick since Saturday night, but yes gear was assembled and installed before I was struck down.
So it's ready to drive up to TSF and roll? er, I mean wheel?

Timing is still an issue. Rather concerned that the cam and crank are off a tooth...
Fully retarded runs about six degrees and little rough. Up around fifteen sounds best, free and pretty smooth. But I'm afraid when I pull the dizzy and re stab it a tooth back (so I can turn it far enough to set at fsm 3°) it won't run...

TPS help. I posted in eighty tech and haven't gotten a response yet so trying here. I'm getting a tps code and that would help explain fuel millage issued. My fsm explains how to adjust with obd 2 but not for obd1. I'm hoping it's just out of adjustment but even if I replace, it appears it will need to be adjusted.

I don't know if this relates but I sprayed out my TPS on my dodge truck liberally with electronics clean from Bimart- at work I use contact cleaner but this stuff wasn't $25 a can and said it worked on contacts- It took a couple of times but now it works good- the TPS tells my tranny when to shift.
I sprayed it into the pivot point and then pivoted back and forth, holding so the solvent went in, repeated and then blew out lightly with compressor..

TPS tested good, coolant temp sender looks good hot (I'll check cold in the morning), but Trans kick down cable wasn't hooked to the stationary bracket...well there's your problem! Aric not only helped me troubleshoot but taught me how to fish! Well taught me how to test those two resistors and how to install and set a tps! Way better than just giving a guy a fish.

Windshield and install was $240.00 I chose to purchase the seal from Wheeler Toyota ($54.00) instead of have them order it from their vendor ($79.99 plus $29.99 for shipping). And honestly since my windshield was not glued on either the glass, nor the frame, my seal would have probably been re usable. I can't tell you how happy I am with their work though. Not only a good price but excellent attention to detail! I didn't have to even mention the specific process for a Land Cruiser install they explained it to me when I called for the quote. Also they did it while I waited and I saw every step along the way and he explained what he was doing and why as he went. I learned a super slick trick to getting the seal in with a rope, pretty f'ing cool!!!

Oh and yes it's AMAZING how trippy it is to have a NEW CLEAN windshield.
