Hello to you all. I just registered to this site. I am currently repairing the steel part of the body on my 81 BJ42, cutting out rust and welding in new material. I plan to treat everything with POR15 and paint with Raptorliner. I am replacing the original 81 front doors with donor doors from a 73, with the side vents, and upgrading the steering and transmission and case from a donor 1983 truck. When I'm done I plan to repair the original front and ambulance doors with new steel. I did a frame off resto about 18 years ago, and it's time to repaint the frame etc. so that will also be done. Great project.
