new to forum fj40 project underway

First off i have a 74 fj40 my dad bought in 78. When he retired 4 years ago he gave me it and drove it up untill a year ago. The fj is now on its way to being ressurected. I have a 350 t.p.i. w/700r4 thats going in it. Willpost pics soon.

Got a new donor car with a built up 350 with Holley heads and aluminum rockers between the tpi and that I have pretty much a full awesome engine. Power steering gear box, steering column, and seats I am going to use also.

So the lunati cam and the flat tappet lifters that were in the second engine were trashed. I am still going with the tpi fuel injection anyone have any cam recommendations im boring 60,000s over also, if that makes any difference. I kinda would like roller letters too maybe.

Aqualu is the only company I know of that's currently producing aluminum tubs. $3500 plus shipping. Or you could do what I did and buy a $200 MIG welder and steel panels from Real Steel Cruiser Parts.

Anyone have any recommendations on a torque converter stall speed with the tpi 350, stock rear end, and it has the 700r4?

How do you plan on driving? Stop light to stop light? Or low end grunt cruiser. Stock is probably around 2400 give or take assuming it's an electronic lockup 700r4. I'm a torque guy so lower stall. 1800-2200. HP guys like 2800 up.
