Just drove my dads 99 Tacoma 4x4 base model from Nevada to Texas. Has 125K after the trip and ran like a top. The paint is shot and the exterior window weather strips are shot, wondering if the exterior belt trim is this part number: 68210-04020? The schematic seems like it's the interior weather strip Genuine Toyota Tacoma Left Front Belt Molding 68210-04020 | Frontier Toyota - https://parts.frontiertoyota.com/oem-parts/toyota-belt-molding-driver-front-door-1995-2004-tacoma-6821004020. Can someone confirm before I purchase? I plan on repainting it factory metallic green myself and throw on my 91 FJ80 wheels. That's pretty much all it needs.

I don't know much about Taco's but hey! that's a sweet little single cab with a locking gas flap! Every time I see one of these pass me with the "4WD" mudflaps it makes me want one more and more. Awesome that this has sentimental value for you, my granddad's '88 Isuzu Pup is my sentimental truck. I'm not much help here but just wanted to say I appreciate your post and short story.

Quiet group. Guess I'll go back to the 80's forum...
Those were my exact thoughts when I posted about my 1gen Tundra in the Tundra section 😂

Right! But hey its a Land Cruiser forum after all.
I would say it's a TOYOTA forum

The 80 series section is by far the most popular !

The Tundra/Sequoia section is relatively active. There are quite a few of us on there regularly. It’s definitely more active than here, although I’m about to start on a bit of turd polishing on my 592,000 km old 97 so I’ll probably stink up this section a bit more often. It will be my primary hunting and plowing truck for this year, and likely get a lot of daily driver duties as I’m running out of miles on my Tundra lease.

It was originally a Land Cruiser forum, but as we got older, most of us gathered a bunch of “other” Toyotas and the offshoot sections began to appear.

 So that makes it a Toyota Forum

😂 We know you have ;)
Am I supposed to be impressed? Where were you for the almost 10 extra years I’ve been on this here Land Cruiser forum? Wetting the bed? :flipoff2::flipoff2::flipoff2:

Of course my comments are all made in good fun, as are yours I presume. On that note, do you have a link to your Accord build? 😂🤣😂

I thought you would be. At the beach Surfing and building Ford 4X4 Vans on tons. It happens 🤪

Of course It's full of sand because we walk the dog on the beach every morning and my wife doesn't care and I'm tired of cleaning it 🤨
