So I searched, and the results were dozens upon dozens of sunroof drain unclogging instructionals. My particular leak, however, comes from the rear of the sunroof, and drips right on to the two front seatbacks. A carwash was polite enough to inform me of this :D . I just got done clearing the drains (all four) about a month ago, and I also replaced the slide covers as they were shaped just like Pringles brand potato chips. I haven't actually looked up there, cause why do that when I have IH8MUD, right? Who's seen it?

Mine leaks too, but I get the water coming out of the grab handles. I also discovered this in a car wash.

At any rate, I discovered an interesting thing this morning when I went out to knock the snow of the 80 this morning. When I shut the driver's door, I got a nice little poof of powder snow from the crack where the rubber gasket meets the edge of the room. The snow was blown out by the brief increase in air pressure when closing the door!

I think the rubber around the glass is the culprit. I am going to try the bike tube trick and see if that seals it up. If that doesn't work, then I will replace the glass assembly. They run around $250 to $300 for a new glass and rubber gasket. You have to get the glass because the gasket is perma-bonded to the glass and it's sold as a unit.

I also replaced those plastic cable guards and they made no difference.

The drip tray in the back of the sunroof assembly may be damaged somehow. It's in the back and is designed to funnel the water into the two rear drains. I just redid the sunshade fabric and had the whole thing off yesterday and noticed mine. Are you sure your window is properly seated? You may also be out of spec and just need to adjust the glass with some spacers.

I'm dying to hear about the tube trick!
