New Style Safari Snorkel Pics

I recently purchased and installed my new style ARB / Safari Snorkel and before I did, I searched for some good pictures of what the new style snorkel looked like installed and had to spend some time digging through the site to look at members rigs to get an idea. Non of the photos were taken to show how the snorkel looked installed, so I decided it may be helpful to others considering doing this mod to add a post with pictures of what the new style snorkel looks like installed.

My overall comments are that it is a very nice fit and I followed the template provided with no problems at all. I also used a step drill to drill the small holes for the studs. Hope this is helpful to any of you considering this mod.

The old style was more squarer. it didn,t follow the contour of the guard as the new one does. It was like having a big shoe box bolted to the side of your Cruiser

I have seen that version for quite some time now, is there something really different about that one other than it being more contoured than the squarer design? I'm with Doug you just wanted to show off a very clean looking rig. Very nice.

It took me about two hours, but that was with a few beers and double checking my template about 20 times.

OK, OK... I do like my rig, but I REALY wanted to be able to share what the "newer style" snorkel looks like compared to the old squared off verions, as reference for anyone looking.

Showing off my rig was just a plus!
