Elsie got a new pair of shoes yesterday as well as a leveling. shes sitting pretty now on her general grabber at2 275 65 18's. studded =)

That was to be followed with a picture, but I'm over my quota? What does that mean? Help! I want to share...

thanks cruzer. 95% of people say 285 65 18 (32.6") or 275 70 18 (33.1"). i kept coming across a post every once in a while though that said lock to lock those sizes are fine with no rubbing, with minor rubbing under full flex. i dont ever want it to rub. period. and i thought keeping em stock width and 32" height would make a minimal hit on gas milage. time will tell. im very happy with my 32's. and for those searching, ride quality change was negligible switching from stockers to e rated tires. however i can tell a power loss. even with my 5 speed. im sure its from switching out the street stockers (~42lbs) to an e rated all terrain (~53lbs) more than it is from the 1" size difference. but who cares. im stoked!

Looks good! Interested to see what you think of the tire and size after you have them a while. I have 285/60/18 on mine and i wish the tires were just a little taller. Guess that is what happens when you buy the tires before you install the lift!! Thought the Generals were good looking tires.

Look'n good! Now its time to get rid of the boards and install some step sliders...

sliders are a little out of my price range right now. front mud flaps arent though. i think the running boards will stay on through the winter and ill switch to sliders or flaps in the spring when my snow rack comes off the top and the studs come out of my tires. thanks for the kind words, all.

Sweet! Love those tires... How do they ride?

they ride amazing! but i would be comparing them to completely bald stockers, so im not hard to impress. i AM impressed with how little noise there is in the cabin from these tires when studded. my friend has dedicated studded snow tires on his car and it sounds like a tropical rain storm if following us. not the case in my hundy. even with the windows down, the studs arent that noticable. must be less studs in the A/T tires compared to the studdable snow tires. still stoked i could find some general AT2's. i had been looking for months with no luck. then magic happened. :)
