looks great :)

Much better. More natural looking!

I think that's the route I'll be going once these wear out...if the wife will let me :0(

Yeah, they should have came with 285's from the factory. I'm debating whether to go with 33's or 35's and regear...

After my 33" GY MTR got too worn out, I tried to order 35" GY MTR ( I used second set of street tires for daily driving) but was told it is 6 to 30 weeks backlog thanks to the war on other side of the world. I ended up brought used 33" GY MTR but still 35" would be better.....

Peter - The new tires look great! They fill out the wheel well nicely. Whats the next upgrade?

Snook - Can I ask? Where were you able to find used 33"s ? I have been watching ebay, but most tires on there are smaller take-offs, and I have tried local tire shops but they say they rarely get anything that size used and in decent shape.

Very Nice! Now I know what they will look like on mine and that makes me want them more!

My wife WANTED them! I'm a lucky man. :) She has also expressed interest in a winch. hehehehe

I sold my 80 so I had the cash on hand to pick up the tires. My local tire shop came pretty close to matching the BJ's price and they have the Hunter balance machine to boot. However, the kid broke the McGuard wheel lock key when putting the wheels/tires back on and lucky for me they are right next to my local Toyota/Lexdus dealer. They had a master set and fixed me up no charge. They also cut my new master key for free. I ordered a new key from McGuard and am having it overnighted . If you mail the broken key back to them they refund the cost of the new key.

Now I have to save up for some torsion bars and diff drop. I've already picked up the OME springs and shocks.

Peter, some free advise. Throw the locks away. When you are off-road that is the last thing you want to be stuck with. It is not like 100 series wheels are a hot comodity to steal. It does not fit anything else.

Good advice Christo. I was going to buy some replacements yesterday but choked when the dealer said the new nuts are $14.00 each. I'll be checking some local boneyards to see if I can find some for a sane price. Anybody have some extras they can part with for a reasonable #?

Tires look great.

I picked up locks at Pep Boys. Don't recall the exact price, but they were pretty cheap.

Unfortunately, they'll steal anything around here not locked down. All my lights are locked too, so they stole the clear covers. Now I have a cable ties on them, so if the mofos aren't carry a set of dikes, they can't walk away with them.

Had my wipers, headlights and tail lamps stolen on my 93 pickup. Crazy.

Mine with 285R75-16 MTR's. Wow are they great off-road! I have had a little bit of a balancing issue...going to try the "Force Balancing" recommended on another thread.

The facto steps are gone...and hopefully I will get the real slider/steps completed this weekend. Then the suspension lift, etc....

Without a doubt, the 100 just looks "right" with this size tire. Even the guys at the tire shop were looking approvingly. I'll be interested to see how your step sliders come out. I think I'll be sticking with the stock steps for a while or at least until my camp road deteriorates to the point I need sliders :)

I am hoping when we get/find the 2nd 100 that the tires are crap, planing on swaping he 285's on the lifted 100 to the new stock 100 and getting one size bigger(whatever size that is) for the lifted 100........makes both Connie and me happy :)

I think you need another coat of Armorall there, looking a little dull. ;p

Hell that's not ArmorAll! I have 'em painted gloss black :D

bwahaha! BLINGED MTR'S!!!! j/k looks real good too. My wife liked when we moved up to the 285's as well, which was about 2 weeks after we bought it :) I just can't get through that I need a second set of wheels/tires yet. Arrrrgh. Oh well, my "big boy toy fund" will have to come through on that I suppose. Unfortunately, the 100 has been out of my hands lately more than in them. I'm using my taco primarily and the wifey may never give the 100 back except for weekends. :(
