My wife and I just had our first baby a few months ago and now she is talking about having another one so the kids are close in age. Soo that means her Trailblazer SS isn't big enough so we have been looking at bigger suv's. The local dealer just got a couple of 2012's in and I went by and looked at them. Both are plat and sticker almost $64k. It was nice but I don't know if they are all that. I asked how much they would come off and they said $500 is as good as they could do. Is that the normal for them. I never have bought a new toyota only gm. There is a lot of wiggle room on the price of gm's.

They should have pretty good incentives coming up in a month or so (if not already). I don't think the rebates or incentives are as good as domestic car makers, but well, I'd rather pay a bit more for a Toyota product.

Also look at the Land Cruisers. Should be plenty roomy for you and the family. Plus they're a lot more off road capable than the Sequoia's. My wife absolutely loves hers.

new land cruisers are out. Its not much bigger than what we have now and her ride will never see off road. Besides I'm 6'5" and my wife is 5'10" so we need the leg room of a full size and we travel between my work site and home.
I wouldn't buy from this dealer anyway because I went to pick up the seal I ordered and i walked right past the sales man and looked him in the eye and he didn't even acknowledge me. But I can get a gmc denali xl or 2500 suburban loaded for 10k less. I guess I'm getting old I dont need all the gadgets. I just want leather, radio, and lots of room.

Have you tried 100% Haggle-Free New Car Price Quotes from Local Dealers - TrueCar Pretty cool site where it gives you the best dealer price in your neck of the woods. Looks like near Roanoke, you can get a 4wd Platinum for $57k. (maybe negotiate further, too). Or a 2wd Platinum for $54k.

Good luck with your search. Denali's are nice. My father has been a GM fan all his life, but after driving my Toyota's, switched 2 years ago and hadn't looked back. That 5.7 is a sweet engine (he has a Tundra).

Edit: For Clarksville, you're at $52.3k for 2wd and $55.3k for 4wd. Both Platinum.

Have you looked at the Costco,s program? I bought my Tacoma that way. I think I paid 1500 more than I wanted, but As I get older I don't want to spend 3+ hrs haggeling over $$.
Good luck & Congrats on the babys, I've got a couple Greatest thing in the world, except when they would blow out their diapers.
