I know Layton funny similar paths on this 4x4 road we are on, excpet your 100 is getting the full set up..Looking good.

No worries I will snap the pics. PM me your cell and I will just send them over in a text.

Looks great Chris!
Mine is finished being built and is at the powder coaters right now. Very similar to yours but on the DS i just have the can carrier. Mike should have it shipped pretty soon.

For the tail pipe, i removed my resonator and welded on a piece of straight exhaust tubing with a down turn on it. The exhaust sounds much more V8 like but is still very quiet, even with DT headers.

Also the hitch, as well as most offroad bumper hitches, is not rated. Only ones i can think of are the ARB and Kaymar. Having a hitch design rated is very expensive and out of the budget for most shops.

Pretty funny that we both had FJs, and 80s, and now we both own a 2001 River Rock Green Mica LC.

Could i ask a favor? Do you mind getting a shot of the under side of the bumper near the hitch? And possibly one facing towards the rear crossmember, like from the axles point of view. I will be welding in some plates to enclose the part of the rear crossmember that is cut out and maybe weld in a brace on the backside of the crossmember as well.

Do you honestly see that many 100s with black steel bumpers in person? Who cares what others over the Internet are doing. I rather do what works and looks good than going out of my way just look different from people I will never see or meet. Usually the guy who trys the hardest to be different end up making their truck look worse in my opinion (aftermarket wheels, hood mounted lights, white bumpers, green or red painted parts, etc....)

You've must of driven through Santa Ana... :D

Seriously though, I believe in trying to be one's self and not a "me too". I know, this is probably beyond black bumpers, but sticking with vehicles, I'll try something different sometimes just not to look/be like everyone else. and try to avoid the tacky/gaudy look. That's why I didn't do black bumpers/trim on my last expo. Some people thought it looked over the edge, jto some people, was the bomb and I had a couple of mag's wanting to do stories on it until I totaled it (only made it on the cove of Panorama, the Porsche Club of America's mag, I had a Porsche at the time and they did an off road event for Cayenne's and I took my rig).
BTW: that is VERY red, the pic just makes it look a little on the pinkish side.

Just emailed Mike for availability for mine, asking for unfinished bumper so I can powder coat silver at my local powder coating shop.

Hoping to hear back from him soon.

Bumper looks great !! Mine works very well towing and doing its job banging into tree stumps. My only wish is that the wing ends are capped. I am having a local guy fab some tabbed bolt in inserts to keep crap from getting up in the bumper.

I hate mud...

You know... I used to not like the opening at the wing ends, but every time i'm out wheeling, i somehow seem to get a lot of mud in that area and when i go home to clean, i'm always glad that it's open. I will probably fab something somewhat flexible to put in that area though.

Mike can make them with end caps, I have them. They screw out so you can get in to tighten the other stuff of needed. I don't find it too hard to clean.

I sure wish Christo would design a better jerry can rack for his rear bumper...
(how many times I gotta beg Slee??)

Not exactly sure what we need to change. We have a Rotopax and then one that takes 3 5 gallon cans with a nice hold down strap. Not sure what needs to be better? Better looking? More functionality?

I am open to suggestions. Some people don't like the sheet metal look, but for reproduction and cost, that is the best.

The other advantage of our ladder, is that you can bolt anything to it you want.

Do you have a picture of this?

Not a very good photo, and the bumper is dirty, but it looks better in real life. I took this at night from my campsite, I'm in Ouray at the moment, or I would take better photos for you.

He also added Rigid LEDs for mine
