Not liking the swing out style very much but the bumper its self looks great.

Correct, it doesn't cover the tail light.
If everyone liked the same thing everyone's stuff would look the same.

Also there's quite a bit of small stuff missing. It should come together pretty nice when it's all powdered and put back together.

Cartercd, now that's what I'm talking about! I dig full bumpers, but would like something simple to protect the rig. Metal tech's 80' has tube protection with a similar idea. They said, one day soon they will be production, but not yet...

Also, I really dig the OP's rig, bumper and all! One day, perhaps I'll take the plunge into a full expedition setup for my LX!

Metaltech is supposed to be looking into making a cheaper bolt on wing solution that would allow swing outs. Here is the thread...

I was on Carolina Truggies web site and there was a really large laser design logo version of this one for their business. I harassed them to make me a smaller version laser cut to install on my bumper b/c I thought it would look cool. I think it does and to your point, it's different and usable ta boot.

I have the same color combo on my LX, and was going to pull the stock roof rack soon. I was thinking of painting it the cladding color bc white or off white was too much of a contrast. Can u post pics of the roof? I was thinking of bringing the color down onto the hood partially as well. Bad A$$ rig too!

They painted the roof, wheels, cans, logo all the same color gray. Alex can get a shot tomorrow if he has time.

Outstanding I has the same lx with the same color scheme I think I'm going to follow your lead on color matching the wheels and the rear bumper is nice too busy in my opinion but it does a lot.

I think the last thing will be the addition of kevin Rowland's WagonGear storage hatch mod and the passenger side dash oh s*** handle.

Almost at the finish line. The TOYOTA snorkel I think is allot better looking than the safari imho.
