New Owner of a 2005 LC!

Guys-
I've been following on IH8MUD for years and the time has finally come to join the family. Ive been a long time toyota fan and owned many toyotas but this is my first LC. I traded a 2010 tacoma on this 05 two days ago. Shes in pretty good shape but Im starting to compile a list of repairs and improvements.

The list thus far:
-gas gauge reading empty (possible bad ground at fuel sender?)
-needs waterpump and timing belt
-baseline fluids/ grease driveline
-fix drivers door lock actuator
-remove running boards
-possible stock torsion bar 1" lift upfront
-replace super glued mess of a key with an elite key
-add bluetooth iphone streaming (bt35-toy or vias)
-replace blown speakers

future dreams
-new suspension (ome 1.5" medium load)
-tires (305/65/18)
-front bumper (tjm t3/ arb)

Any suggestions/comments on this list so far are more than welcome. Love the community here and looking forward to being apart of it! Thanks in advance

sandroad- i havent fully embraced the lack of mpgs yet but we all got into these cars for other reasons right! that pic is in tampa,fl

Nice score! I traded a 2007 DCSB Taco for my 2006. Gas mileage isn't all that different from the Tacoma, but still noticeable. You will enjoy not having a payment though!

I would fix priority items and baseline first, then drive the truck for a while before adding modifications (those 305's for example will get you down to about 12mpg). Check out Benc's Dissent Offroad bumpers when you have a chance and enjoy your new acquisition!

AHC was optional on the LC in '06 and '07. My '06 doesn't have it.

Yes, an '06-'07 without AHC is an awesome find, but not typical (just like finding one without nav). Almost all of them came with AHC and NAV.

I'm not so sure, I have an 06 without it, although it does have nav.

Nice LC! My brother went to buy that one in Sarasota but u beat him by an hr lol! We beat them up on the 06 LX and got a bunch of things fixed on it. Think he came out ok and shd have it by Friday .

@d5c5b, that's a great looking 100. Congrats! I'm jealous of you guys and your non-S.E. Toyota versions... without the goofy stick-on fender "garnishes". So much cleaner. So few scratches.
