New Owner: AC fan question

Long time 80-series owner, sold about 4 years ago, now have a 2015 GX.

I just want to ask, is the AC fan kind of loud in these things? At full blast, it seems kind of unnaturally loud. At medium setting, it seems acceptable.

Thoughts? Cabin filter within 2k miles.

Is it the fan you're hearing or the sound of wind blowing through the vents?
If it's just the sound of air moving through the vents, not much you can do about that unless something is caught behind the vent like pine needles, small leaves, etc.
I've never had that happen on my GX but on our old Landcruisers and other vehicles I have. It would cause the vents to sound louder and sometimes even a slight whistling noise. I'd have to go through the vents with tweezers and pull out the offending debris or blow them out with my air compressor.
If it's a mechanical sound, e.g.: motor, whining, etc. that may be something you'll have to have a dealer look at.

Sounds like a dealer visit, definitely has a whine to it.
