Scott Clark's Toyota in the Charlotte area has agreed to become an official sponsor of our club and will offer our members discounts on OEM parts similar to what club members receive from Fred Andersen's Toyota in Raleigh.

At this time, I don't have a lot of details on the discount percentages but on a parts quote I received last week on rebuilding my knuckles, the discount applied was 25%. I hope Charlotte area members will find them to be a convenient source for OEM parts at competitive prices.

Our primary contact for parts at Scott Clark's Toyota is Jeff Knell, who has 28 years of experience at Toyota and who has spent the last 18 years at Scott Clark's Toyota. Be sure to mention you are member of ONSC when you speak with Jeff in order to get the discount. Below is Jeff's contact information.
Jeff Knell
Toll Free: 8 hundred -849-Nineteen 72
Direct: 704-814 Six 432
13000 E. Independence Blvd.
Matthews, NC 28105
This discount is only for active ONSC members. If you haven't paid your dues, consider that the savings on the parts will likely more than offset the cost of your membership. :)

As club members begin to utilize this resource, please PM me with your feedback.

Outstanding work, David. I've never had need to visit SCT as I never had a Toyota until last year, but I will definitely utilize them now at least for parts if at all possible. Thanks for including all of the proper contact info for Jeff Knell. I wonder what he drives...

Maybe if we can have enough of a presence at the parts counter they'll get to understand us and turn on their FJC customers to us. Lots of FJC's rolling in the Queen City.

If they act anything like the last two FJC groups we've run into on the trails, I could do without. Not to lump everyone into a group based on their vehicle, but dayum, clueless and inconsiderate.

While I'm glad to hear there will be a local parts hookup for the CLT guys, I only hope FAT would be cool with this. They've been our solitary Toyota sponsor for several years now. With that said, I honestly doubt they'd bat an eye.

only thing that sucks is I just bought a bunch of things from them in Feb

But when I pulled up in the cruiser it did draw quite a crowd and all the sales people actually knew it was a land cruiser not a 4runner, Bronco, Blazer or what ever else it has been called at others... hell even when I drove my sisters multi colored yota truck out there there were still a bunch of sales people asking me about it.

Will be doing plugs and wires soon so that will help to get it.... plus it is 1000 feet from where i'm taking classes right now.

Oh yeah David you'll need a logo from them so it can go up on the website.

David Thank you. I wonder what response I will receive from SCT & Jeff when I start requesting OEM part numbers for the troopy. I have had good luck w the guys at Rice Toyota in Concord, but the discount will motivate me to try Scott Clark.

I've made multiple parts orders this week from Jeff at SCT and have been very pleased. I haven't had to have him research anything really weird yet, though. It might have helped that I walked in instead of calling. He was even willing to look up a 40 part even though I told him it was long gone - I was right, but he still took the time to do it.

The guys in the warehouse have also been really good about calling when orders arrive and are always happy to help carry stuff outside for me and chat about our rides.

Yeah, 25% discount.
