No confusion here,...

Quoted from email conversation,

"I've got another interested buyer at $60. It's yours if you can go to $70!

J"

Chris,
I am the other "interest at $60". I am out I don't play bidding games and I don't like the payment options I was quoted.

Post prices and location.

That's why we have rules ........

unfortunately those are no longer the rules, but merely suggestions.....

"- Prices: Not required, but this is not Ebay. DO NOT put a price in the Title. It is common courtesy to post a price for each item."

Once the price fluctuated upwards based on interest the 'This is not eBay' rule kicked in for me.

Hey folks,

Here is a complete list with part numbers and prices to avoid confusion.

Just as a note, I am not a car guy. I'm helping my Dad clear out his old inventory. Thus, there may be some confusion on parts that were put in the wrong box. I've pieced together this list from parts sites on the web and, aside from the part number, can't guarantee it's accuracy... Feel free to do your own research, and if something looks awry let me know and I will change it and update. If you offer me a fair price, I'll consider it :)

I have photographs of everything, and happy to provide via email! References as well.

Also, as I am inexperienced with these parts, prices may or may not be what you expect. If you feel they are unfair and have evidence that you can get the part cheaper elsewhere, I'm happy to negotiate.

Also, please bear with me as I get the etiquette of this forum down. I'm a newb.

Please contact me directly for information on the two 40s, the 55, the scrapper 55 and the HJZ and B engines.

Thanks for all the inquiries!

J

It has never been a REQUIREMENT to post prices here on mud, much to my dismay.

I have photographs of everything

Given the amount of stuff you are trying to sell and the fact that you admit that you cannot accurately describe it it would make sense for you to buy a Silver Star here and then post pictures of the stuff. Alternately you could put pics up on a picture sharing site and link to that from here.

oh i guess the wording was more "persuasive" in the old forum

Strange... it appeared as a clean table before I posted it, then the formatting dissappeared.

Either way... this should be easier to read. Thanks for your patience gents.

@TCSTARK and @oshndoc

My apologies. This is a difficult item to price, there aren't many on the web to compare. I was trying to get a feel for what it can bring in the market. My guess is $60 is actually below market value. Either way, I will honor my original offer to you, Arne, if you're still willing.

I admit my being 'green' to the etiquette of this community and am doing what I can do get the train back on the tracks.

James, I'll send you an email. -A
