Newbee here. I bought this 90/62 about a week ago off of fleabay. Runs great 194K, cold a/c, new tires, OME front bumper, super clean interior etc... runs great. Thanks for all the help on here to help me pick what I wanted. Many mods to come.

I just bought a 88 FJ 62 here in Texas two weeks ago so I know how you feel. I think yours is in a little better condition than mine. Really anxious to get started on all the things I want to do to it. I think they are such beautiful vehicles. I've wanted one for the last 15 years and finally decided to take the plunge.

Welcome to MUD. Nice to have another '62 owner here.

That thing is nice looking! Very clean!

What'd it cost, if ya don't mind my asking?

What are the wheels & tires?

Congrats

nice find you got, welcome to club mud.now let's get that rig dirty, lol. john:D

Very clean 62! Glad to see more of us out there. I am hoping that both of you will keep your square headlights instead of going the dark route! like others out there. We are an elite group us 62 owners and we should be proud of it, not hide it!! :flipoff2:You know who I am talking to!

Chris!

Hey Kiel!

The dark route is driving with stock 62 headlights, I can light up the road with these!

And it doesn't have that Camaro look!

Another noob thread descends into a headlight discussion!!

But, as long as we've started down this road, I like the round headlights best of all.

:bounce2:

Well since it started I am all about the square headlights it is what i have and like them, even though i have some round ones up in the rack along with some rectangle ones as well.

aww man why'd I start it...no way the 4Square kicks all! Then you've got all sorts of lights that can be used if others stop etc..plus they look much better, I don't know how to describe it but they do.:flipoff2:

It's like arguing religion or politics. To each their own. ;)

You just wish you owned mine, it runs! :flipoff2:

If you want it to look like a 60, you shoulda bought a 60!

:flipoff2:

Stay square!

This poor guy thinks we are a bunch of nut jobs and all we care about is headlights. I mean come on, what really makes the 60 better is the manual transmission (and the round headlights). But for me, I think I'm going to have to by a 62 and have one of each. Oh yeah welcome to Mud. nice rig, good price

This poor guy thinks we are a bunch of nut jobs . . .

Sure he thinks we're nut jobs. WE ARE!

[insert maniacal laughter here]

I paid 3500.00. The wheels and tires are from an 80. I have round and square lights so it's just right.

An '80? I didn't know that '80 wheels fit a '62. Hmmmm.
