Just replaced original oil pressure sending unit with Toyota OEM new part and now truck reads very healthy pressure on the dash.
I had similar issues with my toyota boat where it was showing nearly 0 pressure after warm up and replacing sending unit also fixed it.

How hard is it to replace?
But doesn't a cold engine read the oil pressure high anyways? Your's is cold according to gauge. What does it read at normal operating temp?

It was reading 1/4 cold and 1/8 hot, now it is 2/3 and 1/2.
Not super hard but take a short 14mm open wrench to get sensor lose, once you move it few degrees you should be able to spin it out by hand. If you don't have short wrench, cut some junky one to about 10cm in length.

Make sure you don't mix up which lug you connect the wire to. Wrong, and it will fry the dash gauge.

Anyone have a part number for the stock sensor? (And maybe a price?)
