Stand it straight up and down like it would be on the landcruiser and cycle it compressed and extended a few times and see if that fixes it
Are those actually new or are they old stock? Reason I ask is because yours look black and the ones I picked up brand new a couple months ago @ the Toyota dealer are blue.
