Just got in my oem shocks and ready to install them, what else should I look at replacing while I'm in there?

2005 LC non AHC w/ 182k miles. Really no concerns to mention, but what else should I be looking at down there at this mileage?

Thanks!

The bushings at the top of the shocks if you need. These shocks and springs are super easy and fast to replace so not much needs to come apart…as long as there is no rust in the rear.

Always a good time to put in fresh end links and sway bar bushings

I just did mine 2001 (134,000) all around, together with sway bar links, control arm bushes, etc. The rear shocks were OEM from 24 years ago and completely rusted. Hard to get a wrench on up there and get any grunt on it. So, I used a 2 1/2" hole saw. Bought rubber plugs from Amazon to fill the holes. Worked just fine.

good idea. mine were hell to get broken loose. was rough to get that top bolt off with a ratcheting wrench.

Just replaced the rear shocks last night. Got the bolt off without drilling the hole. Sprayed it with blaster first. The hardest thing was trying to thread the nut on the new shock. I have large hands....
