New member, new ride

Stopping in to say hello. I picked up this 2013 with 34K miles a few weeks ago as an upgrade to my 2004 V8 4Runner.

She's going to do some light off roading to access hiking, tow our 16' Airstream, and haul the dog and two kids around town. Could not be happier so far!

Excited to dig in the forum.

Very nice. I like the gun metal gray. I'm anxious to hook up my trailer and see how my 2013 tows in ~6 weeks. 3 kids and a dog plus a 24' Forest River Surveyor (20' trailer + hitch) myself.

Thanks everyone. I will definitely post up a picture once I get the Airstream attached.

The only initial addition I'm thinking about is adding a Gobi rack. They are local and I have a buddy who has one on his 4Runner and I like the utility and look.

What an amazing vehicle overall!

Nice! I sold my 07 S4 Avant to make room for this. Couldn't bear to part with the 4Runner.

Probably a good choice as the 4.2 from the S4's are riddled with issues. Mines an 05 and when the chain guides went I actually swapped in a modified 2.7t as the 4.2 was anemic at our altitude.
