We live in Ahwatukee and try to get outside at least once a month. We're not much into off-roading for the sake of off-roading, but we love to do things that require us to get into places that require 4WD. My journey to the LC began with the orange Jeep pictured below. My girlfriend got a new Tacoma and the new car bug bit me so I got a new 4Runner. I had that for a year and as much as I loved it--which I most certainly did--I realized I'd wanted a Land Cruiser all along so I now have one.

I plan to turn it into a full-fledged overland rig with hard RTT, skids, sliders, lift, drawers, and fridge. That's going to take time, though.
