Hey everyone!
My name is Al and I'm a proud and happy new owner of a 99 LC with 223k miles on her . I'm super stoked and have been super happy with it so far. The PO was a lady and kept it dealer maintained .
So far I've upgraded the tires with bfg 285/75/16 ko2''s, just got my snorkel in the mail (will be going on this weekend) and added a few stickers. I'm currently looking for rock sliders other than ARB as it seems I'm limited to the fender bars and bush bumper if I go with them. (Any suggestions? ). I like the Sahara front bumper, but am currently unaware of any other makes (front bumper wise).
Also looking to get a 2+" lift and am open to suggestions!
My center diff lock works flawlessly, but my rear diff lock is refusing to engage. I've tried driving in figure 8''s on a gravel road. Reversing and going forward and even kept it switched on in (4 low of course) for the whole duration of our last trail run. I also tried knocking on the actuator wile someone was engaging and disengaging the switch. Checked the wires near the plugs for damage and nothing. Also jacked up the rear tires and spun forward/back manually and still won't engage.
If anyone has any suggestions I'd greatly appreciate it! *cheers*
