Hello to all and starting on my mods. Ordered digi fits two days ago and reserved 5 275/70/r18 BFG KO2s. Dropping off for window tint and vinyl wrap work next Thursday. Also having stock wheels powdercoated satin black because I really like them (stock wheels). Not sure if I want to lift it yet but if I do I will do the ARB/OME BP-51 with SPC UCA from slee set up or Icon stage 5. This is the reason I have the tires on hold because I really like how the cruiser rides and don't want a harsh ride, everything I have owned in the past has been extensively modified and are use to ups and downs, but I love how lifted trucks and big wheels this is why I'm waiting on the tires because if I lift I want the biggest tire/wheel that I can fit without rubbing at all. Any info would be great thanks.

I have been running BFG 275/70/18 for a week, stock, no rub. It's real close though. I am about to put icon stage 5 on. (Next Tuesday)

The ride is smooth and no tire noise. I had these same tires on a Tahoe and they acted much differently.

Thank you for the input can't wait to see what it looks like when you are done with the stage 5. Also did you look into BP-51 set up before you maid your mind up on icon.

Congrats, and welcome!

I have learned a ton from this forum. Tons of great guys here and I learn a little more from them each day.

Post pics! ;)

Also biggest tire for stock no lift no rub.
Congrats on the new rig, post up pics asap! 275/70 R18's will fit with little to no rub(depending on brand of tire). I had the Goodyear Duratracs and they just barley kissed the LCA at full lock(only if ya held the steering wheel all the way over).

I did. I have icon on my 80 series Land Cruiser. I am sold on the product. There are are several with icon lifts on here. Do a search for icon. There are some good before and after shots.

I didn't want to lift mine when I first got it either, I really liked the way it drove, now after lifting it I love the way it drives, way way way better man!

Thanks and how's the ride and is the system dampable.

Yes, it is. 10 settings. Firm to squishy. Hahhahaha

The ride difference in the 80 was night and day! I don't know about the 200, yet.

Can't wait to see what you think. Also what did you think of the BP-51 set up just curious.

Welcome to the addiction! We love pics!

:-)

Congrats Brandon. Sounds like we are doing an similar build minus the wrap. I'm going to install OME BP-51 next spring as my current OME setup is really nice until I start adding on the Bumpers, winch, etc where the BP-51 will make more sense. Slee talked me out of ICOn and Radflo because of the area we live in and the OME is much less maintenance. I also like my current wheels and will powder coat the wheels as well. I'm really looking forward to seeing your wheels when they are done. When are you getting this all done? :bounce:

Please update after you get your windows done. I really struggled matching the tint on my 15. You will find that the front glass has a UV protection and it turns the tint "green". I was able to get mine close on the third try but it is still obviously off when there's a white background like a garage wall or snow. I'm too obsessive about it and might go a 4th try if you manage to find a film that matches better. Thanks in advance!
