Please welcome our second newest member #654 Chris (@ChrisInAZ ) to CopperStateCruisers.

Chris resides in Mesa and has a 2003 4Runner Limited and a 2011 4Runner SR5. Please tell us more about yourself and your two 4Runners.

Welcome aboard! Let's see some 4Runner pics...!

Hi all,

I'm a retired computer professional. I'm married to Beth, and we have 2 kids - Connor is 16 and Riley is 19. I enjoy photography, woodworking and welding. I really look forward to doing more off-roading.

We bought the 2011 4Runner about a year and a half ago. It's pretty much stock except for the wheels. My son mostly drives the 2011 now.

We bought the 2003 4Runner this past September in New Hampshire. Connor plays hockey. He played for a school in New Hampshire this past school year. We bought the 2003 for him to drive while he was there. He and Beth just drove it home from New Hampshire a couple of weeks ago. It is also mostly stock except for wheels and Bilstein 5100 shocks. The 2003 became my main car once it got back to AZ.

Welcome to the club Chris.

Welcome to the club

I know this is an off-roading club, but maybe I should mention that I also own a 1991 Toyota MR2 Turbo that I have owned since 1994. It is all stock except for the wheels and the stereo. It was recently included in the Future Collector Car Show as part of the Barrett-Jackson auction this past January at West World in Scottsdale.

very clean trucks! welcome, and I hope you can resolve the clean issue soon.

Where abouts in Mesa? Mr.2 nice! I have a gs300 nat along with my own fifth gen runner and my 80.

So I'm getting that "...all stock except for the wheels" is a thing with you? Love the MR2,

Yeah, I sort of noticed that too as I was writing my posts :) With the MR2, that was on purpose. I was trying to keep it stock. After my experience at the FCCS, I'm rethinking that. With the 4Runners, I just haven't had them for very long that's just how they came. I have lots of changes I would like to make to them, but I will have to save my pennies for a while.
