Yes, I passed him and 5 cars that were following a slowbird. He pulled me over in this Challenger and asked what the hurry was. He checked all my info and let me go with a warning!

Guys, my LX has become bouncy. Have done most of the work on this myself, but am afraid to touch the AHC and frankly don't want to. I think I need new accumulators. Is there a good mechanic in the area that will do this for me? Not afraid to pay, but last 3 mechanics I hired for other cars were clueless and ended up doing the work myself and fixing their f@*kups. Would also like a link to the Japanese accumulators that are like a 1/4 the price of American ones. Thank you in advance!

Check the 100 series forum as it has a good thread on AHC maintenance / repair (I'd link it but it's been several years since I had a 100 series). Often just a fluid flush will put an aging AHC system back in working order before you go running off to buy new globes. It also details a process for checking whether your globes are worn... I recall it has something to do with the difference in fluid volume in the AHC reservoir between hight and low settings on the AHC selector, but I don't remember the details. Also check out the Techstream tool to look at pressures in your system. It could be that after >24 yrs your torsion bars and rear springs are stretched / saggy so your AHC is overcompensating to maintain normal height and has less capacity remaining to act as an actual shock absorber. Tightening your TBs or replacing your rear springs might put your AHC pressure back in spec so it can again act as a shock absorber.

If it is your globes, just be happy there are more affordable options now. I had to address mine maybe 10 yrs ago. It turned out it was just my front TBs were stretched and needed to be cranked down plus flushing all the old AHC fluid, but when I thought I needed to replace the globes, the only options available at the time were OEM parts at $750 per corner IIRC. I know prices have come *way* down since then especially as a couple non-OEM versions became available.
